"Truly Outrageous" is the theme for the day. Perhaps it should be my theme for life. While sitting down for some quality time with E, we hopped on over to Youtube and watched some classic videos- one being the intro theme to Jem and the Holograms. Oh Jem! Today's children really do not understand the beauty of an 80's cartoon. The bad pop music, the slow graphics, oh and who could forget having to adjust the rabbit ears on your tv?! Dora ain't got nothin' on Jem. It takes me back. So, for those of you who do not remember, (I won't say "for those of you who have not seen Jem" because I know you all have or you would not be my friend), Jem's theme song went on and on about how truly outrageous she is. And, what a wonderful theme song it was. I am thinking of finding a way for that theme song to follow me around throughout the day and whenever I meet someone new, it just blares out over the nearest loudspeaker, with the minor adaptation of "Lauren" instead of "Jem." How AWESOME would that be? Come on, don't tell me you never thought about what your theme song would be!
